MTV2 DROPS

**Winner of a Silver Promax Award and a Silver BDA Award.

Every week, MTV2 promotes a new release from a wide range of artists. For each artist, they will choose three songs to promote from the album. We were asked to come up with an interesting way to promote 15 second clips of these songs. I concepted and designed three different directions and using a mix of stop motion, live action and 3D elements, we created these animations, where each element, within the animation, was linked to a midi device. Each slider on the midi device controls an individual element. This enables our animators to create unique, custom animations that sync up to that particular song, which in turn, allows us to turn these out weekly.
